They did what?

May 5th, 2008

Just when it looked like FC Barcelona was not capable of producing a good result, they go and beat slaughter Valencia 6-0.

That’s right, when I first saw it I thought it must be a mistake, but despite the crisis at Barça, with Real Madrid winning the league, with Manchester United going through to the Champions League final and Valencia knocking them out of the Copa del Rey AND then going on to win it against Getafe, they managed to put everything together against Valencia last night.

Despite that 10 players will be given the boot transferred this summer, that must give the players some morale. On Wednesday they play Real Madrid, so perhaps Barcelona will be able to do it all again and salvage their honour, bruised from a defeat in the Nou Camp leg back in December.

F1: News roundup

April 3rd, 2008

Tickets for the Valencia Grand Prix have now gone on sale, with the Spanish press reporting long queues as locals bought up tickets, selling out the first release in just one hour.

Meanwhile, it appears that Ferrarri has dropped plans to debut a radical new nosecone in Bahrain. The cone, which has been tested by Marc Gene, has a hole in it to improve airflow and will probably be delayed until the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona, later this month.
